The left half of your facial bones is larger than the right. This is correctable by shaving the jaw bone all the way to the chin on the left side and moving the cheekbone inward on the left side as well. Most of the procedure is performed from inside your mouth. It is about a 2-3 hour procedure with about 9-10 days downtime. You need an experienced surgeon for this type of very specialized surgery. 

There are a variety of techniques that can be used to correct facial asymmetry. A more temporary approach includes dermal fillers (e.g., Sculptra, Voluma, and Radiesse), while fat grafting, use of permanent fillers (Aquamid, Bellafill ) and facial implants would offer a more permanent solution. To address your concerns I would recommend having an in person consult with a board certified plastic surgeon who specializes in facial aesthetics.

Facial asymmetry is normal, and can be due to multiple different causes.  Both soft tissue (muscle and fat) and the maxillofacial skeleton can contribute to these asymmetries. I would obtain a maxillofacial CT scan, to better determine how much of your asymmetry is due to your bony anatomy. Based on your physical exam, CT scan, and your aesthetic goals, your options would include: chin implant vs. genioplasty, injectables, custom cheek implants and fat grafting. You should seek consultation with a board certified plastic surgeon who is experienced in facial reconstruction. The good news is, there are many options available to you, in order for you to improve your appearance and symmetry.  These options range from minimally invasive (injectables) to more involved surgical reconstruction (implants/genioplasty). You should be able to achieve your goals with these options and avoiding a facelift! Good luck!

You actually have a 'bone' asymmetry so that the only solution is to consider jaw reshaping etc. Soft tissue procedures will not help.Age will emphasize this asymmetry as the overlying soft tissue 'thins out'
