Which filler is more suitable for a non surgical nose job (on a bigger nose); Juvederm or Stylage?

I don't have the smallest nose and would like to get a non surgical nose job with the help of fillers. I was wondering which filler would be the best option for me: Juvederm or Stylage? I would like a long lasting and beautiful result

based on my 20 years of doing non surgical nose job first and foremost experience and thorough knowledge of nasal anatomy is very critical for this procedure.   Not everyone is qualified to do this procedure.  Second I would not recommend Juvederm products in this area as to your question.  Thank you for a very good question.

Hi F,Your best course of action for you nose is not focusing on which filler is best, rather your focus should be directed to which injecting physician is best for you.  Choose your injecting physician most carefully based on their skill, experience, knowledge, and natural artistic vision.  I prefer to use Restylane Lyft in the nose, Voluma can be used as well.  Good luck and be well.Dr. PEncino, CA

First and foremost - safety should always be the first consideration.  There is a remote risk of blindness and vascular occlusion if injected into a blood vessel.   Due to the limited blood supply in this area it should only be performed by experienced injectors who are able to reverse potential blindness with a retrobulbar injection of hyaluronidase.    
I do have experience doing it and if we were to do it - I would recommend using a thin filler such as Restylane while using our Accuvein infra-red vein finder as a safety precaution.   I would encourage you to do more research and test whatever practice you visit to see if they even bring up the dangers of this injection as many places are quick to treat without reviewing all the risks involved.

Thank you for sharing your question. In most cases I prefer to use Juvederm Voluma for a nonsurgical rhinoplasty as the thicker consistency allows for more predictable structural changes to the nose.  Hope this helps.

it is hard to tell for sure without an examination. Generally speaking, dermal fillers are a great option for improvement of nasal shape and irregularities. IN most cases, Juvederm is a good option. If you are considering a treatment, I would suggest you to consult a board-certified plastic surgeon. Only after a thorough examination you will get more information and recommendations.

There are several fillers that will be able to give you a beautiful result.  It is more important that you select the right injector.  You want someone who is experienced and listens closely to your goals.  At that time the correct filler will be selected to help you achieve those goals.

Juvederm is wonderful for a nonsurgical nose job done by an experienced injector as the nose is a high risk area meaning there can be complications highly likely should it be injected with a provider that is not experienced. Follow up with your provider is also very important to maintain your safety.

A non surgical rhinoplasty performed with filler will help blend the angles of your nose to make the lines appear more smooth and proportional.  This can be performed with a hyaluronic acid filler such as Juvederm VOLUMA which I prefer.  This can also be reversed with a hyaluronidase injection in case you do not like the look. A surgical rhinoplasty is another option as well. For the best treatment options, it is important to visit an expert for an in-person examination.

We always recommend a face-to-face consultation for advice however from what you have provided here for a non surgical rhinoplasty it's much more important which clinician you see for treatment than what filler is used. It is a complex area and expert injectors will use a product that creates the best result with their technique.
