Hi I’m getting my lips done 20 hours before I fly. My flight is only one hour. Will I be okay? I understand I may swell more but as long as I’ll be okay I will be getting 1.1 ml. I’ll be flying from Manchester to Amsterdam
Answer: Getting lip filler before a flight You should be fine to have your filler 20 hours before your flight. You might experience some extra dryness and swelling as a result, but these side effects can be managed and will be temporary. However, I would check with your injector to be sure there aren’t any extenuating circumstances that should be addressed. Make sure you are working with an experienced, qualified injector to ensure the best possible result.

Answer: Lip filler before flight Hello and thank you for your question. Yes this would be fine from a medical perspective however the concern would be what if you have a problem in the first 24hours and need to see your injector. For this reason you would be better having your treatment sooner or considering delayed it. Please seek a face to face consultation with a qualified and experienced practitioner, best wishes

Answer: Lip Fillers -- Juvederm Ultra/Ultra Plus/Volbella/Voluma, Restylane Silk/Lyft, Belotero, Fat Injections, Lip Lift Yes! You can fly post injectables. You would get a nice improvement with lip fillers. These fillers, (Volbella, Restylane, Juvederm) are good to create a symmetrical lip. Nova threads can be used to improve lift and shape. Implants or fat are alternatives. Technique will be important here, so you'll want to see someone meticulous. I recommend getting a formal evaluation with a facial sculpting expert. For quicker healing I recommend checking out the link below with my lip injection after care package which includes products such as Silagen Arnica-Bromelain Complex which speeds up healing times. Best, Dr. Emer.

Answer: Lip filler prior to 1 hour flight Thank you for your question, elliemp123!You should not have a problem flying for just 1 hour 20 hours after your lip filler. However, keep in mind that 20 hours after your filler is prime time for swelling and flying can possibly increase this swelling even more. Always consult with your injector as well.

Answer: Lip fillers and flying Hi, thanks for your question. You should be fine to fly after getting your lip filler, you might experience more swelling or dryness, everyone reacts differently, but given that your flight won't be too long you shouldn't experience any adverse symptoms. That said, I recommend that you consult your provider as well, as they are always in the best position to advise you. Safe travels!
