Which filler is the best and lasts the longest for nasolabial fold tear trough?

Which filler is the best and lasts the longest for nasolabial fold and tear trough.? Which filler do you use for the smile lines and which filler do you use for tear troughs and why? Is there a filler I can split between those two areas? Every doctor says something different. Some say to use Juvederm and some say to use restylane lyft. Some say Restylane lyft is too thick so use Juvederm ultra plus. So which is it?

There is no one answer to this question which explains why you have gotten so many different responses. There are so many fillers out there, many of which work well in the nasolabial fold area. Choices are somewhat more limited for the tear trough area. More important that the choice of filler is the skill and experience of the physician injecting it. The best way to determine which filler would be most appropriate for you is to have an in-person consultation and examination by an experienced physician. Best wishes.

Best filler for depressions and lines?  for depressions I was Voluma because it lasts for two years and can be reversed. For lines I like  Juvederm, which lasts 9-12 months, also reversible. If you  go to an experienced injector you will not need to reverse this

You have several options. Longest lasting is ok, unless you don't like the results, in which case it is long lasting. Any filler in the tear troughs will last a long time, usually 1-2 years, but sometimes even longer. Juvederm ultra plus and Restylane lyft are nice options for the nasolabial folds, depending on how deep the folds are and your age. Your dermatologist, highly trained and experienced in cosmetic injections, is the best person to review your skin and anti-aging needs so as to optimize results and safety.

I agree. The more important issues are technique and clinical judgment, not brand names. These fillers are manufactured by competing companies which spend a fortune marketing their brand names. Restylane Lyft is not a thick product.  Long lasting and “best” are not necessarily consistent with one another. Some of the thicker fillers may not be natural or smooth.  See several dermatologists or plastic surgeons for evaluation that is specific to your needs, not generalized.

in my opinion, you are focusing too much on the individual brands of fillers. What matters the most is injection technique and who you choose to perform your filler treatment. A good injector can get good results with any of the established filler brands. A bad injector will give suboptimal results no matter the filler brand.
