I have a molar that is infected. It will be pulled tomorrow and I will get an implant on a later date. I am on antibiotics. My surgery is scheduled in 3 days. Is it safe to go through with it?
Answer: Facelift after dental infection Thank you for your question. You are probably safe to undergo your facelift procedure after treatment of your dental infection, but it would be best to check in with your surgeon as soon as possible about this. They will make the final determination about whether or not you are safe to proceed, or if you need to delay your procedure. All the best.

Answer: Facelift if tooth is infected? Ideally you would be healthy and free of any infection prior to facelift surgery. It is best to discuss this with your surgeon to see if they recommend postponing or feel comfortable with a few days to heal post extraction.

Answer: Facelift Thie risk of the infected tooth causing problems with your face lift is very small. However, ideally you would want to wait a little longer prior to having the facelift. You don’t want to have a problem with the extraction while you’re recovering from your facelift.

Answer: Infected tooth - Face lift? Thanks for your question. Sorry to hear about your infected tooth! Short answer is that in the face of an active infection, it is almost certainly safest and best practice to postpone your surgery if that is what your surgeon and dentist are recommending. I would recommend discussing in depth with your surgeon and dentist. It may be too much risk with an active infection so near the area of your procedure. The last thing that you want to happen is to develop a severe infection with all the complications that that can bring. Wait, and get a great result down the road. Hope this helps. Best wishes!
