I have performed Dermatology and Cosmetic Surgery for over 20 years. I often combine a non surgical tightening procedure such as Thermage or Ultherapy with a resurfacing procedure such as Mixto fractional CO2. The first modality goes 3-5 mm deep into the skin to tighten and lift. the resurfacing is very superficial and allows acne scars, brown spots and wrinkles to be removed. They can be safely combined but a lot of experience is needed. Thin areas such as the skin under the eyes or temples need to be watched closely. I hope this was helpful. Yours Dr David R.

Yes this is safe- reason being is the energy delivered, though high for the skin, is way below the critical temperature for threads, fillers and sutures. All the best, Davin S. Lim. Brisbane. Australia.
I have owned an Ulthera system since its FDA clearance and performed numerous Ultherapy treatments. I have never seen the treatment cause such burns. At the most on very thin skin individuals we see raised red lines that resolve in less than 24 hours. You should have been treated for these...
