Cosmetic surgeries are serious medical procedures, not prizes to be won. It is crucial that potential surgical candidates approach these procedures with a serious mindset.Board certified plastic surgeons are barred from offering procedures as part of a promotion as this calls into question the ethics of a procedure which is offered site unseen. A physician can only evaluate an individual's candidacy for surgery via an in-person consultation. Surgeries offered as part of a promotion risk: poor candidates inappropriately undergoing procedures which they have won or alternatively "winners" being denied their "prize" after their candidacy is called into question. As always, discuss your concerns with a board certified plastic surgeon (ABPS).
Thanks for the question. I have not heard of any surgeons doing this, and would be extremely cautious of anyone giving away free surgery. In my opinion it is unethical and could imply some ulterior motive. I would have a hard time believing a reputable, capable, board certified plastic surgeon would do this. I would also be extremely cautious about trying to look for free or heavily discounted surgery. This is your body- it is not something that would be in your best interests to go cheap on. No one would look for the cheapest heart surgeon or brain surgeon, and they shouldn't for plastic surgery as well. Look for well qualified, safe, reputable surgeons to do this. Most practices will offer financing plans to help with the costs. Best wishes, Rohit Jaiswal, MD Plastic SurgeonLas Vegas, NV and Lake Havasu City, AZ
Thank you for your question. If this is true, this is full of red flags. The American Society of Plastic Surgeons (the professional society for certified and trained plastic surgeons) has a code of ethics that very clearly forbids members from offering surgical procedures as promotions or giveaways. So if there are surgeons out there who are "giving away" this procedure, you should run away and run fast. First, they are not trained and qualified. Second, and even more important, this procedure carries significant risk and there have been several deaths from this procedure due to unsafe practices. This is your life and anyone who you should trust to be doing this procedure on you would never be giving it away for free. This is your life.....not a raffle.....be SAFE!
Surgery is a serious and expensive treatment. If someone gives it away for free, they are probably making it up in another way probably through advertising, trade, or perhaps a modeling contract, etc. In my office surgery is not trivialized to be given away as a raffle.
There is an old adage that says "if it sounds too good to be true, it probably is." Nothing is free in life. Brazilian Butt Lift surgery is a serious endeavor that requires a tremendous amount of work on the part of the surgeon to perform. Not only is there a cost for the surgeon's time but for anesthesia, facility and equipment fees as well. I really doubt that these are truly "free offers." I would be very wary.Good luck.
The expression there's no free lunch seems appropriate in response to your question. It is highly unlikely he you'll find a board-certified plastic surgeon to perform a free BBL. Some university residency training programs offer discounted cosmetic procedures for the residents educational purpose. Mats Hagstrom M.D.
Thanks for your question and posting pictures. Safety is at the forefront of any reputable plastic surgeon's mind. A big risk in many plastic surgery operations is DVT, or deep venous thrombosis- a blood clot usually in the legs. This clot can then travel upstream through the heart and get...
Your recovery can be as quick as two weeks! After a month you should be good to travel and swim, and bruising should be down. Keep in mind that High Definition liposuction with VASER technology, as well as Puregraft fat transfer will give you the best results and offer the highest yield of fat....
To achieve the smallest waist possible and the best waist to hip ratio, I would recommend lipo of the back, abdomen, flanks, and love handles with fat transfer to the buttocks.. Liposuction average cost of one area is probably $4000, two maybe $6000, three maybe $7500, i.e. economy of scale....
