CoolSculpting for arms: One long applicator or two smaller ones? (photo)

Question

I am considering coolsculpting for upper arms. Two different providers agree that I am a suitable candidate. One provider suggested using two smaller applicators. The other provider suggested using a large applicator. Both providers are using the new Zeltiq technology. I am 34yo, fit with a BMI of 23.

Thank you for your question!  I am unable to properly evaluate your arms by the photo provided.  Coolsculpting provides two applicators to treat the arms, the coolfit and the cool petite. The correct way to determine which applicator is best for you is with an in office evaluation.  I encourage you to seek an additional professional opinion before making a final decision. Good luck!

We have used both two small applicators and one larger applicator for the arms.  It all depends on the length of your arms and the size of the enlarged area of fat that you want treated.  You are probably a candidate for either treatment and there may not be a right answer.

Upon review your photo, it appears that you are a good candidate for CoolSculpting. The treatment plan that would likely be most appropriate for you, would be to use 2 of the Cool Petite applicators as you seem to have 2 smaller bulges of fat. This may vary from one arm to the next; however, if we assume that both arms are symmetrical with regard to the fat distribution, you would likely benefit most from using 2 Petite CoolSculpting applications per arm.

I love the results of the Coolsculpting applicator for the arms.  From the photos it would appear that you area a great candidate for the procedure.  Two small applicators would likely work better from the photo alone that you provided but an in office consultation is the only way to assess the area.  Please consult an expert in Coolsculpting for the best cosmetic results.  Best, Dr. Green

Thank you for your question, Coolsculpting is a great non surgical procedure that will target your under arm.  From looking at your photos i would suggest the cool petite applicator but it would be suggested that you go to a clinic to have a proper assessment done by a licenced coolsculpting technician.  Best of luck with your decision.
