Will bruising from fillers under or around the eye be permanent?

No, bruising is not permanent, but can take a few weeks to resolve. Icing, cold compresses and arnica may help. Hope this helps.

The bruising almost always goes away, and IPL can improve the bruising and have it resolve faster. Bruising due to filler and Botox injections around the eyes should not be permanent.  This issue normally completely resolves over time.  The severity of the bruising can be related to how long it lasts.  

Bruising is not permanent, but some heal faster from bruising than others.  You may wish to try the supplement Arnica.  It is sometimes helpful in resolving bruises.

Hi there! Sorry to hear of your experience. Unfortunately this is not an uncommon occurrence with injections especially under the eyes and in particular with filler. It usually lasts around 2weeks but can last even longer depending on exact location and size of hematoma. It is extremely rare for this to be a long term or permanent issue, so just be patient and use warm moist compresses over it. For future reference use of ice before the injections and products like Arnica really help, also avoid blood thinners like aspirin, Advil and ibuprofen during the week before. And if a bruise starts, apply pressure for about 3minutes immediately before continuing the treatment. Good luck!

The sensitive area around the eyes is very vascular and its very common to get some degree of brusing after procedures. It can take upto 1-2 weeks for the bruising to go away completely. If fillers are done with cannula technique the bruising is minimal. You can use homeopthic cream arnica and it will help to resolve it  faster. Thanks for asking the question!

Thanks for your question and sorry this happened. It is very common to get bruising in this area. It typically takes 2 weeks to resolve but depending on your skin type, can take a little longer. You can try some simple remidies like warm compresses and natural supplements like Arnica. Very rarely people require lasers to resolve the issue. Good luck!
