Thank you for your question. You can certainly see two different doctors for Botox, but I'm not sure that it's recommended. It's often best for consistency to see the same doctor, preferably an experienced one.
I would not recommend seeing 2 different doctors in the same week for Botox. Botox can take a couple weeks to see results and if two different doctors are doing it, the treatment areas may cross. The results could have the opposite affect of your desired result. Hope this helps – Dr. C
That is a good question and it's great you asked before going forward. There is no reason you cannot get Botox from two different doctors, however, I recommend you wait longer than a few days between appointments. Since they will not be communicating with each other, you should wait at the very least a week between visits, but two to three weeks is best. It often takes 2 weeks (I've seen up to 3) for the full effect of the Botox, and if they end up injecting in the same areas, you could very likely receive too much. Hope this is helpful.
You can do this, but I don't recommend it. It takes 1-2 weeks for final results and I would advise waiting a full two weeks before assessing whether you need the additional units. Hope this helps.
Thank you for your question. I would not recommend going to 2 different doctors in the same week for Botox. It can take up to 2 weeks to see the full affect of Botox after it is injected. You can run the risk of being over treated which could mean an undesirable look. If you can't wait then I would recommend that each doctor inject separate areas, for example, 1 injects the forehead and glabella or between the eyes and the other doctor injects the crow's feet. Good luck!
It would always be recommended and best to stick with one doctor or practitioner, as Botox can take a full 14 days for the protein to bind to the muscles. Jumping around from doctor to doctor in the same week can potentially cause over treating an area and could give you unwanted and non appealing results such as Spock brows, droopy eyes, etc.
Hi. As other providers have commented it is not a good idea to see two different providers in one week. You should wait until you achieve the full results from your first injection of Botox and then you can visit the second provider. If waiting is not an option for you the only other suggestion would be to have them inject completely separate areas, for example, only your crows feet treated with the 20 units and then with the other provider use the 40 units in the forehead and between the brows. But again, the best option would be to wait until the Botox from the first provider has fully kicked in and see the other provider 2 weeks out. It would be best to form a relationship with one provider who knows your face and keeps track of all your cosmetic medical history and can guide you best on your future treatments. Hope this information was helpful.
I do not think it is a good idea at any time to get cosmetic injections from two different doctors.Do some research and look at the experience and technical expertise of a Board Certified Dermatologist in your area. He or she would be the best at managing any potential side effects and other risks of injectables.
thank you for your question. I really would not recommend 2 treatments in one week. Botox takes up to 2 weeks for results and adding anymore botox prior to this may cause unacceptable results .
There is no reason you cannot get the Botox from 2 different doctors but it is not a smart tactic to have 2 different doctors. if something does go wrong whom are you going to call?
If the filler you want removed is a Hyluranic Acid, such as Volbella or Belotero, it can be treated with a medicine called Hyaluronidase, which is injected into the filler area within 24-48 hours of treatment, dissolving the filler.
Botox is injected into the forehead or into the sides of the orbicularis oculi muscles that create crow’s feet. Botox should not affect the function of your eyelids. Getting semi-permanent eyelashes after Botox is fine. Consulting a board-certified dermatologist will get you the most be...
It is very common for patients to experience bruising following their Botox injections. I would advise patients having a surgical procedure to abstain from any type of treatment 4 weeks before and after the surgery to eliminate the possibility of adverse affects that can lead to your surgery...
