5 days post-op. There's a bright yellow discoloration patch after filler around the eye that is not a bruise. Advice? (photo)

This is a bubble of filler product. It can be rolled or shaped. Do not do this yourself. You can make a dent. Your injector should be able to handle this. If they cannot or are unwilling, you might consider shopping for a new office for care. This is pretty basic.

This appears to be product that was placed too superficially.  I encourage you to return to your injector for an evaluation.  It may be that more hyaluronidase is needed.

What you've described suggests that the filler has been placed quite superficially, i.e. close to the skin, which is especially possible given the use of a cannula. Also, it is quite likely that too much Restylane has been deposited in the area, which is probable given the 'boniness' of that zone. 
                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                        The alternative could be a resolving bruise, but from what you've written (and also 'not' written), I doubt this is the case. Be patient for a few days to see if there's any change, however.  
Given that fillers around the eyes tend to last quite a while, you may need the treated area to be addressed with hyaluronidase enzyme. You should see the physician who injected you, and if there is any doubt as to what's going on - which might be frustrating for you - then some doctors may employ a pulsed dye laser (or comparable) to see if they're able to alter the 'discolored patch' which may be due to bruising.

At 5 days post op it is still too early to tell since bruising can turn a yellow color. I would give it 2 weeks total. If by then you still have a discoloration it could be what is called hemosiderin, which is a blood by product staining of the skin that usually occurs after swelling or bruising. This can be difficult to get rid of but IPL can help. Again, I think it is too early right now to know for sure.
