Hello and great question. I appreciate the time you are spending researching this procedure. My name is Dr. Matthew J. Nykiel. I am a Board Certified Plastic Surgeon, a Fellowship Trained Cosmetic Surgeon, and a Butt Augmentation Specialist.A BBL removes the fat from unwanted areas and transfers it to areas that need volume. Typically, this procedure includes 360 liposuction of the abdomen, waist and back with fat transfer to your butt, and hips depending on your desired results. If you wanted to widen hips, we can certainly transfer fat to that area.I would definitely recommend doing an in person consultation with a board certified plastic surgeon who specializes in this procedure and who can suggest what is needed. I hope that helps! Best of luck!
Thank you for your question. To provide a valid medical opinion I will need to see pictures of you body from different angles. I would suggest to be treated by board certified plastic surgeon with experience in this procedure, to get the best desired results.Respectfully,Dr. Emmanuel Mallol Cotes.-
Hello and thank you for your question and sharing your photos. The short answer is 'no'. However, it does accentuate your curves. Brazilian Butt Lift (BBL) typically includes a 360 liposuction of the abdomen and flanks, thighs, arms, etc and fat grafting for gluteal augmentation. Liposuction of the flanks will narrow down the waist for an hourglass appearance and adding volume to buttocks in combination with liposuction of the lower back is intended at creating a natural curvy look. Basically, BBL removes the fat from unwanted areas and transfers it to areas that are desirable. It's important to understand that BBL cannot change the underlying body frame and therefore, individual results can vary, as everyone has a different anatomy. I would seek consultation with a board-certified plastic surgeon for a full evaluation and advice. Best,Pejman Aflaki, M.D. Johns Hopkins-trained double board-certified plastic surgeon
BBL is a very customizable procedure that can widen the hips if you want it to, or not if you don't. The only way to know for sure is to book a consultation with a board certified plastic surgeon near you to see what your options are, make sure to bring in wish photos so your surgeon can discuss what would be required to get you from where you currently are to where you want to be. Best of luck!
Dear Magical523888,in case of BBl, fat can be transferred to your buttocks, hips depending on your desired results. If you are considering a surgery, I would suggest you to consult a board-certified plastic surgeon. Only after a thorough examination you will get more information and recommendations.Daniel Barrett, MDCertified, American Board of Plastic SurgeryMember, American Society of Plastic SurgeryMember, American Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery
Absolutely. The procedure is very powerful in the right hands. Pictures or an exam would be necessary to help evaluate your candidacy.
Hello dear! Thanks for the question and provided information as well.Yes, liposuction, along with the BBL, allows your plastic surgeon to transform your entire shape. You can improve your abdomen, hips, back and flanks, and of course your buttock, to give you a nice heart shape. In general, you need to be physically healthy and at a stable weight, have realistic expectations, be a non-smoker and your BMI needs to be 33 or less.l recommend you to make an appointment with a board certified plastic surgeon to talk about your goals and anything you need to know.Good luck :)
Thank you for your questions.A Brazilian Butt Lift procedure is conducted with a liposuction to remove fat from unwanted areas on the body and transfer it to the desired body part(s). If your goal is to widen the hips, you can certainly receive fat grafting to these areas for an overall projection. I would recommend you to discuss your procedure in detail with a board certified plastic surgeon for the best results.Best of luck!
The procedure itself does not actually shift the hip bones. However, the procedure appears to do so by altering the fat in the area, including the buttocks, hips, and waistline. The procedure can add fat to your hips if you desire wider hips. In turn, lipo-ing the flanks and abdomen can also make the hips appear wider. It depends on the patient, as every patient is different. A Skype or FaceTime consultation with a BBL specialist can help you get an accurate recommendation and pricing. Great question! The Brazilian Butt Lift procedure typically includes liposuction of the full abdomen, waist / flanks, and back with a fat transfer to the gluteal region. The placement of the fat is determined by your surgeon. I typically add a small amount of fat to the hip area to create an hourglass shape from all angles. If you prefer to skip the fat transfer to the hip area, then your surgeon can focus on the buttock only. It is important to consult with a board certified plastic surgeon and have an honest conversation about your cosmetic goals. I wish you the best!
