I had bbl done April 27th 2917. This just look notthing like other bbl that I have seen in picture or online. The bottom portion looks to empty to me. My Dr. Said it will drop and even out but I am not to sure it will.
Answer: Not sure if my BBL was done correctly. Very disappointed. Thank you for your question and photos. First, I would get rid of that cutout garment. I believe the cut out does not fit every buttock appropriately, and can give lasting deformity. Use a garment without the cutout. You seem to be very wide, but without preop and postop naked photos it is difficult to appreciate the true shape due to the garment distortion. The fat does not drop (it is not an implant!), stay where it was placed. The shape and volume will change as the swelling resolves. In my experience, what a person has at 2-3 months postop, is permanent.Talk to your surgeon about your concerns and follow his her postop instructions. Be patient, in 3-6 months you'll see your shape. Good luck with healing.

Answer: BBL results Dear connie Lopez, swelling after a BBL can last for months. Since you had your surgery a month ago I would recommend you to wait some more time to see the final results. If you aren't satisfied, then you can always consult your plastic surgeon. Daniel Barrett, MD, MHA, MS Certified, American Board of Plastic Surgery Member, Am. Society of Plastic Surgery

Answer: Could Be A Number Of Things The "top-heavy" buttocks look often occurs after pressure was prematurely placed on the buttocks. Premature pressure is any pressure placed on the buttocks (sitting or laying) within the first six weeks after BBL surgery. This includes immediately after BBL surgery in the recovery room when patients are often placed on their back, squishing their newly injected fat and/or sitting on the buttocks on the ride home. Often premature buttocks pressure also occurs at home/work when a boppy pillow or donut pillow is used instead of a thigh roll. A boppy pillow or donut pillow simply get sandwiched between the buttocks and the chair, once again squishing the fat and flattening the contour. Top-heavy buttocks look can also occur from a surgeon's technique or lack thereof if s/he did not actually mold the fat and release the contracted/socked in skin at the bottom aspect of the buttocks. The lower buttocks would continue to look flat. The garment is not one I would select as it can cause indentations at the periphery. After 6 months, once things have settled and most of the swelling has gone away, you can consider a secondary BBL procedure if you are unhappy. Continue follow up with your plastic surgeon.
