6 Days After Chin Lipo- Should I Be Seeing Results? (photos)

Chin liposuction results take at least 2-4 weeks before the initial swelling resolves and further definition of the jawline occurs over several months. Edema fluid will fill the space beneath the skin and for this reason, the jawline appears unchanged. In general, chin liposuction produces consistent results of a youthful, well-contoured neck and jawline. 

Hi Haleigh, you likely have swelling, which can last for weeks following your procedure, so it's still too soon to see your final results. To speed up healing, you can try adding Venus Legacy or Exilis radiofrequency treatments. First, I would say that it is way too early to be judging results 6 days after liposuction under the chin.  It will take several weeks to have a better idea of your results. Second, I would say that it appeared that you did not have that much fat present under your chin before the surgery.  I would be surprised if 100ml was removed from that area.  Given that your starting point was not that severe, I would guess that your results are going to be fairly subtle.

It is too soon to judge the results of a chin lipo only 6 days post op. In general you’d see after 3 weeks a visible result as the swelling and residual fluid gets absorbed. The pictures you are showing were not taken at the same angle so it is hard to judge the difference. However it seems to me that there wasn’t much fat to begin with and therefore a big difference cannot be expected.
