You should prep well by making sure you avoid any blood thinners including some types of vitamins. Most bruising can be covered up relatively well with make-up soon after the procedure.As far as correcting the apnea, standard submental/chin lipo would not effect your apnea one way or the other. Depending on the type of compression dressing your surgeon uses (and any self wrap you use after the main wrap is no longer needed), your apnea could temporarily change (including any snoring you may have).
It is possible to develop bruising after liposuction under the chin. This does not always occur and if it does, the severity of the bruising can vary by patient. Liposuction will not cure sleep apnea and should not worsen or improve it.
