Chin lipo 1 day post op. Chin looks the same. To me the chin size looks the same as before lipo. Even with swelling shouldn't it look at least slightly smaller? Im worried it didn't work for me. My post op picture has the blue ink markings still from surgery so I apologize.
Answer: Postoperative Swelling I am sorry to hear that you are dissatisfied with your results. At only 1-day post-op, you are still very early in your healing process. It is far too early to view your results as final as swelling can persist for several weeks after liposuction. Give yourself some more time to heal and reevaluate your results in a month or so. In the meantime, I recommend that you discuss any concerns with your surgeon; he or she is best equipped to answer any questions regarding your case. Best of luck!

Answer: 1 day post op lipo Hi there and thanks for your questions and photos! As the other surgeons have mentioned, you are only post op day one and have plenty of healing to go. It can take up to 4-6 months for full swelling to diminish. I recommend wearing a compression band for a few weeks to help reduce swelling and provide comfort. I also suggest regular follow ups with your surgeon to ensure adequate healing. Best of luck and hope this helps!

Answer: Chin Lipo Hello and thank you for your question. One day is too soon to see the results you are expecting. The tissue is too swollen for it too look much different than before, and at times it may look worse than before. Follow all of your surgeons directions by the letter, and do not attempt any home remedies to relieve the swelling. Only take the prescribed medication. Hope you heal fast and see results soon!

Answer: Liposuction results Dear Pia1, I understand your concern and it is quite normal to be concerned about the outcome following a liposuction surgery. However, you are still in the very early stages of the healing process.Your will need to be patient at this moment and follow what your surgeon has instructed you to do post operatively. At the early stage of the healing process, the tissues are still swollen. Once the swelling subsides you will be able to see the final result of your surgery.
