I don't really think it makes any difference. They can even be done fairly close to one another. Make certain the orthodontist as well as a plastic surgeon know what you have planned.
Often patients who are getting Invisalign aredoing so to address relatively minor dental problems, rather than moremajor upper or lower jaw repositioning. If this is the case, then the timingwould not be critical. You may prefer not to wear the Invisaline devices forthe first two or three days after your surgery, while you are in the earlystages of recovery. Best Wishes
Invisalign can be done during the time you are having the facelift done. No need to have one completed before the other.
Great question and one that I get asked a lot. Dental work can be done before or after the facelift, it does not affect the results. I do ask my patients to wait 2-3 weeks after the facelift to get their dental work done as they are still in the acute healing phase the first few weeks and it would be more comfy for them to wait. Having it done before, the lift, is also a fine option and does not affect the results of either procedure. Good luck!
Both could be done at around the same time. I do not foresee any issues if the invisalign is done before or after a facelift procedure. That being said, if your surgeon is considering a chin implant as the same time, and via an intraoral approach, I would consult with him/her first. Hope this helps!Best regards,Dr. Marc DuPere, Toronto Aesthetic Plastic Surgeon
The order does not matter.Kenneth Hughes, MDBeverly Hills, CA........................................
Hello,It should not matter whatsoever whether you do Invisalign before or after face lift surgery. The amount of tooth movement will not affect lip/cheek contours.Best of luck!
You can do these in any order u wish. Select an experienced facelift surgeon who does natural work.
You can do these procedures in any order. They do not affect each other. Make sure you do inform your surgeon. Good luck!
In my opinion, you could have invisalign done either before or after a facelift. I would not see any advantage to having one before the other and the procedures should not affect each other.

While it is technically possible to reduce the masseter muscles surgically, it is a rare and potentially dangerous procedure. I’d recommend trying Botox to reduce the masseters before undergoing surgery for them. Botox is not an instant or permanent fix, but it is very safe and can be highly e...
Hi,A midface lift is designed to improve the cheek area and nasolabial folds. It improves the hollowing that develops under the eyes as the cheeks age and descend lower in the face with time. The midface lift allows the cheeks to be repositioned more upwards on the face. By doing this it al...
You're going to get plenty of answers that may differ about this. Certainly, from your pictures, the mainstay of your treatment will be a lower face and neck lift. There are various forms of this procedure, involving different approaches, but in my opinion, this can either be with a SMAS...
Both sutures and staples can yield an equally beautiful result. The real deciding factor is your surgeon’s skill and comfort with the closure he chooses. Ask to see photos of his/her incision lines as the heal, that will give you the reassurance you need to feel comfortable with the closure h...
Every surgeon works a little differently. I personally like to meet with my patients during every visit to our office. This allows me to make my own evaluations and provide what I feel is the best care for my patients. I go over pre-op and post-op instructions during a preoperative visit, which...
