305cc vs 325cc: I am worried about going too big or too small -any suggestions? (Photos)

There would be very little difference in your appearance between a 305 vs 325cc implant. Having said that, the subtle differences may be important to you and therefore it would be reasonable to revisit your surgeon and try on the other sizes.

At size 32 or 34, each 100 cc of implant corresponds to 1 cup size change. If you are an A and want to be a C then you would need 200 cc implants. However, I am concerned about your shape more than your volume. You seem to have upper breast fullness toward your axilla and your breasts seem to be relatively low. More important than implant size is implant position and I think you will need your skin envelope repositioned. The technique I recommend is a mini lift. Using a circumareola incision, your breast tissue is reshaped, elevated higher on the chest wall and more medial to increase your cleavage. At the same time, small implants or fat transfers can be placed.

Thanks for your question. I believe you will find your answer by returning to your plastic surgeon's office and trying on the breast implant sizers again. In our practice, we let patients return as often as necessary to try on sizers and make their choice at their own pace. However, your photos demonstrate a smallish frame and I would stay away from very big breast implants. On the other hand, either 305 cc or 325 cc seem like reasonable choices. There is very little difference between those 2 sizes. But you should go back to your surgeon's office to try them on again. Then you can see what the difference looks like on you. After that, you should be able to choose the implant size that fits your goals the best. Good luck!

Schedule another appointment with your board certified plastic surgeon to try a larger implant. Unless you go up 100cc, the difference is unlikely to be visible. Select the size that boosts your self-esteem, and fits your anatomy.

Just go back and resize with a larger sizer. However, 20 cc is equal to one teaspoon plus one tablespoon in volume.

It friends on what size you wish to be. 305 is quite conservative. Probably would be a small C at best.

breast implant type and sizing selection is a complicated process and requires a detailed consultation that includes a discussion of your goals, a detailed examination, and a lengthy discussion. But the decision will always start and end with the patient. When it comes to sizing, we have all of our patients find 3 photos of their desired breast size. We ask for naked breast photos because clothing can obscure the true size (push up bras). Next, we consult with patients and go over the photos and take detailed breast measurements during a physical exam. Next, we using a sizing algorithm to determine a range of implants that will work based on the exam and the measurements.Lastly, during the operation, we use silicone sizers in the operating room to see how the size actually looks in the breast. We sit the patient up in the operating room, while asleep of course, and compare the sizer result with their desired look photos. If it is too small, we start the process over with a slightly larger implant. We don't stop until we get the perfect match.Of all of my breast augmentation patients, every one of them has been happy with their size due to this detailed and meticulous process. You don't want to invest time and money into a result that is either too big or too small.You should discuss your concerns with a board-certified plastic surgeon and make sure that your surgeon understands your goals.
