Would going from 32A to 415 cc HP or 450 ccs HP implant be too much for me? (Photos)

That size implant is fine if you want to be a D cup. I would probably go down in size a bit, but then again I’m pretty conservative.

I use sizers recommended by the implant manufacturer to help choose implant size. The difference between a 415 and 459
is very small... so, if you are trying to decide between the two, it may be helpful to show your surgeon after photos of the look you hope to achieve and he/she may be able to better direct you to he size.

Hello, the plastic surgeon who measured your breasts will be the best source of information regarding your implants. If you choose implants that are too wide for your dimensions there may be an increased risk of synmastia (web between the breasts), implant rippling, or other problems. Your surgeon will be able to advise if the larger implants still fit your breast dimensions. It is common to try on implant sizers, look at virtual before/after images, or compare wish photos to get a sense of your best overall implant choice. I hope this helps.

Hi, You are fairly narrow in breast width and so for every increase in size the implant must project more and at some point that is what will make it look unnatural. Good luck.

Thank you for sharing your question. If your BWD is correct, I would likely favor the smaller 415cc implants versus the 450. I would definitely try on implant sizers, and continue to discuss your concerns with your surgeon, in order to ensure the implants selected will best approximate your goals.

Hi there, thank you for your question. Actually, there is no so much difference between 515 and 450 cc HP implants. But, if you do not feel comfortable with 450 cc, you should choose 415 cc implants and I think that they will be natural on you like you want.

Based upon measurements of your chest wall and breast imprint width as well as knowledge of all breast implant sizes and profiles should make this process easy. Try on a profile bra with various silicone sizers your PS recommends under a tailored blouse, tank top, bikini, workout clothes, and other garments you typically wear so that you have the best idea of whether the garments fit as desired with the implant selected. Select the size that boosts your self-esteem, and fits your anatomy. Choosing an implant based on an aesthetic goal that exceeds your anatomic capacity may lead to complications and possibly revision later in life.

I would go with the 450cc- the general rule when debating between two sizes is to go with the larger of the sizes- patient rarely regret it!

breast implant type and sizing selection is a complicated process and requires a detailed consultation that includes a discussion of your goals, a detailed examination, and a lengthy discussion. But the decision will always start and end with the patient. When it comes to sizing, we have all of our patients find 3 photos of their desired breast size. We ask for naked breast photos because clothing can obscure the true size (push up bras). Next, we consult with patients and go over the photos and take detailed breast measurements during a physical exam. Next, we using a sizing algorithm to determine a range of implants that will work based on the exam and the measurements.Lastly, during the operation, we use silicone sizers in the operating room to see how the size actually looks in the breast. We sit the patient up in the operating room, while asleep of course, and compare the sizer result with their desired look photos. If it is too small, we start the process over with a slightly larger implant. We don't stop until we get the perfect match.Of all of my breast augmentation patients, every one of them has been happy with their size due to this detailed and meticulous process. You don't want to invest time and money into a result that is either too big or too small.You should discuss your concerns with a board-certified plastic surgeon and make sure that your surgeon understands your goals.

I would suggest going with the smaller size, which still will be fairly large for your frame. You may find the larger implant is heavy on your neck and shoulders over time.
