Had surgery 9/19 and I was wondering if I could just sit in the ocean, no swimming and I will wear a long sleeve "surf" type shirt so I don't burn. I've heard that the ocean helps heal wounds, might just be an old wives tale :) Thanks

Answer: Salt water submerge s/p breast augmentation Hello Dani2511, If you were my patient I would say no, I usually make my patients wait until the incisions are fully clsoed and healed which is usually around the 4-6 week mark pending their healing status. But every plastic surgeon is different and may have different rules. I recommend you call the office and ask directly your plastic surgeon. I would allow your body to heal, no need to rush. Congrats on the breast augmentation! :) Here's to a healthy recovery and healing!
