How long do I have to wait after a breast augmentation to submerge myself in sea water?

Thanks for your question! If you were my patient, I would say no. I prefer my patients not "submerge" their fresh incision until I have cleared them at 3 weeks post-op. That being said, every plastic surgeon is different so I would reach out to yours specifically and see what he says. Good luck!

As long as your incisions have healed nicely then there is no problem with immersing your breasts at this stage. I tell my patients not to have a bath or swim for 6 weeks after their surgery to allow the scar to be completely healed and waterproof. You are more than 6 weeks post-op so I see no reason for you not to do this as long as your incisions have healed with no more scabs etc...

Hello,Thank you for your question. I allow my BA patients to swim and bath after 2 weeks, as long as the incisions are completely closed. I recommend that you check with your plastic surgeon to check  that you are healed and safe to resume these activities.All the best
