I had breast augmentation about 6 weeks ago, and 2 weeks ago I started getting heartburns easily (never had them before) and I've noticed that I'm now gluten intolerant. Is it normal to develop sudden food allergies / intolerances after breast augmentation? If it's Breast Implant Illness, is that a temporary part of healing or something that requires implant removal? I have no other symptoms and I'd hate to get them taken out. I had 400cc Ultra High Profile Silicone implants added.

I appreciate your question.
I would recommend that you discuss this question with your surgeon as every surgeon has their own respective post op protocol for his/her patients. Your surgeon is your best resource as he/she is most familiar with your medical history and how you are healing at ...
You are very early postop and your implants are sitting very high - completely normal at this stage. When your implants settle and fluff more, your nipples will be more "up" relative to your implant position. Please speak to your surgeon if you are concerned.Regards,
Congratulations on your breast augmentation. Your only 1 week after surgery and I would expect some swelling will go away over the next 3-4 weeks. As you're body and breast adjust to the presence of the implants they will look more natural.
