What Are the Long-term Risks of Pubic Liposuction for Males?

I think a plastic surgeon is very familiar with  the anatomy of the male pubic area and has the experience and expertise in liposuction to make them the better choice. A urologist may have no training whatsoever in liposuction as it is  outside of their training and clinical practice.
When liposuction is done for males or females around the pubic area the opposing hand and fingers are placed over the base of the penis or clitoral hood as a backstop to make sure that the areas suctioned are well away from these areas. The suction is done carefully and precisely to contour just what is needed and to avoid trauma to the genital structures. 
Pubic liposuction is commonly done for males and females in a plastic surgeon's practice. I would advise you to consult with a plastic surgeon who is board-certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery.

Liposuction is an excellent
method for treating localized fat collections. The procedure significantly improves contour and is associated with high
satisfaction rates. In addition, the
procedure is considered safe and has low complication rates.The
majority of liposuction complications are related to inadequate aesthetic
results. These include contour
irregularities, dimpling of the skin, skin sag and asymmetry. In addition, infection, bleeding, hematoma
formation, scarring and, rarely, injuries to the deeper structures can occur
with this type of procedure. When the
pubic area is liposuctioned, sexual function is not affected.The
majority of these complications resolve with time or, in some cases, can be
treated with additional surgery.Ultimately, the vast majority of patients are satisfied with their
results.

Liposuctioning of the pubic mons is a very easy, straight-forward procedure under local anesthesia for around $2500 with no down time.  There is a lot of bruising and swelling in the genitals but no permanent sexual dysfunctions.

The risks of doing damage to the nerves responsible for erectile function while performing liposuction on the male mons pubis are very low. Other more likely risks include prolonged scrotal swelling/bruising, skin ptosis/laxity, and seroma formation.

Fortunately the nerves of penile function are not within the pathway of liposuction on the suprapubic area. There will be however, significant swelling and bruising that can show one or more days later around the skin of the penis and scrotum which will spontaneously resolve over a few weeks.

There are no major risks with liposuction of the pubic area if done by a board certified plastic surgeon. The fat is removed from under the skin, the liposuction does not go around the base of the penis or down into the scrotum. Be aware that after the procedure you will experience significant swelling and bruising in the scrotum ("blue balls"). This resolves in 7-10 days if you wear good supporting underwear.

When performed properly, there really are no risks inherent to pubic liposuction except those of all liposuction.  These include temporary bruising, temporary swelling, etc.  Good luck.

As far as I know there is no long term effects in having Liposuction in the pubic area.  You can be comfortable doing it  as long as you have chosen a good surgeon

For men fat tends to be stored in the intra-abdominal compartment. This is visceral fat and can not be liposuctioned. This visceral fat can only be lost by diet and exercise. It is possible that you are a candidate for liposuction but an examination is required.  The risks for men are the same as for women.  The most common area men request liposuction is the lower abdomen and love handle areas. There are no nerves in this suprapubic fat pad and there are no risks for losing erectile function. 

The results tend to be good once the swelling resolves. While all procedures involve some risk, it would be very unlikely to have any long-term problems. A plastic surgeon would be your best choice.
