If your incisions have healed properly, most patients can resume using an underwire bra after about one month following a breast lift. Consult your plastic surgeon for specific instructions in your case.Best wishes,Dr.Bruno
Thank you for asking. In general my patients may try wearing an underwire bra after 6 weeks. There may be an adjustment as breast size, shape and volume are usually different and the bra make feel or fit differently. But generally after 6 weeks patients will not hurt their results by trying to wear an underwire bra. Best wishes
Usually our protocol is 6 week after breast reduction/lift surgery, we allow our patients to wear an underwire!
At three months post op you should be able to resume wearing a well fitted underwire bra as long as you have been healing without any concerns or complications. This should of course be discussed with your surgeon who is most familiar with the details of your surgery and how you've been progressing through recovery.
At 3 months after surgery you can wear any bra that is comfortable to you, including an under wire bra.
Generally yes, assuming you have otherwise healed (ie, that the incisions are closed, healing well, you have no fever, chills, sweats, etc). You should of course check with your own PS to be sure but I would say yes.I hope that this helps and good luck,Dr. Alan EnglerMember of #RealSelf100@RealSelf

Thank you for your question. As always, please check with your surgeon regarding medication prior to your procedure. The main concerns regarding elective surgeries are medications that contain anticoagulants such as aspirins. All the best,Dr. ResultsMiami, FL
Thank you for your question. Explant surgery involves re-using your former breast incision to gain access to remove your implants. If no other surgery, like a breast lift, is planned, then operative time and recovery time is fairly minimal. When you are on the operating room...
