I am 24 years old & I previously had 1 syringe of “ temporal hollow fillers” injected into this area. It only lasted about 6 months. I would love to get this area filled in again. I am in NY an I am opened to fillers as well as more long term options.
Answer: Need to come in to consult For unique cases where a variety of modalities could be used to treat the condition, I would suggest an in person or virtual consultation to develop a custom and effective treatment plan. It is difficult to precisely define the best option without collecting the same information. I suggest reaching out to an expert for a consultation with surgical and non-surgical methods to get a comprehensive option. Best, Dr. Emer.

Answer: Temple volume loss Hi @Forceful735364! Sculptra works great for the temple region and can last for about 2 years. A more permanent solution would be fat grafting for volume restoration. Best of luck!

Answer: Dermal Fillers From the photos that you have provided, you would be an ideal candidate for dermal filler to the temples. Depending on the brand of filler used, you can expect results to last anywhere from 6 months to 2 years. Dermal fillers such as Radiesse and Voluma tend to have longer lasting results, so an option is to use longer lasting fillers during your next treatment. Alternatively, you can transfer some fat to the area as a longer term solution. The only drawback is that the fat transfer will have less precise placement since all of the fat will not survive. Going forward, I would recommend you to complete multiple in office consultations with board certified experts. This way they can best assess your face and craft the ideal treatment plan for you. Best of luck! Kian Karimi MD, FACS

Answer: Fillers and sunken temples Hello and thank you for your question. The longevity of fillers differs from brand to brand, some of the longer lasting are Radiesse and Voluma. I suggest an in person consultation to discuss your goals and to determine which filler is best for you as far as looks and longevity. Best wishes. Dr. T

Answer: Fillers for sunken temples I have been injecting fillers in the temples for many years with very nice, consistent and safe results typically lasting about 1 year. Best to speak with a physician experienced and highly trained in such procedures such as a dermatologist to optimize natural results and safety.
