I think anywhere between 300-350 would get to this result. Much of your final result will be determined by a number of factors including what size you are starting with, chest width diameter, and BMI. This should best be evaluated by a board certified plastic surgeon.Best of luck on your search!Dr. DesaiHarvard Educated, Beverly Hills & Miami Beach Trained Double-Board Certified Plastic Surgeon
I appreciate your question. The size of implant best for you is dictated by yourchest wall measurements. Once we determine that we can choose the profilebased on what you want or need to achieve. If you are seeking a natural look, then the diameter of the implant should be equal to or, more ideally, smaller than the width of your breast. The breast width is a measurement of how wide your breast is at the base, which should be measured at the level of the nipple. Choosing an implant that is smaller in diameter than your breast width will avoid the "side breast" fullness that is often associated with a more artificial appearance. Other than that, you should choose the implant based on volume, not on the dimensions of the implant. You should choose a board certified plastic surgeon that you trust to help guide you in this decision. Silicone will give you a fullness at thetop (upper pole fullness).Silicone implants come pre-filled with asilicone gel and are the softest implant available. They feel more natural, which makes them a good option for women with less natural breast tissue; butthey require a larger incision. It may be more difficult to realize if thistype of implant has ruptured, so it is important to monitor them with annualfollow-up visits. Additionally, because this implant contains a more liquidsilicone (less cross-linked), if this implant should rupture, it will leak onlyinto the scar capsule formed around the implant but may cause some discomfortor implant distortion.Anatomic gummy bear implants might be agood choice to give you volume. These highly-sought-after, anatomicimplants offer a look that more closely resembles the natural silhouette of abreast, and, therefore, are a very attractive option for individuals seeking anatural-looking, aesthetic primary breast augmentation. Additionally, theseimplants are an especially excellent option for patients undergoing restorativeor corrective breast surgery because they provide more stability, shape, andreduced incidence of capsular contracture. Compared to other types of siliconegel implants, the silicone in the cohesive gel implant is more cross-linked;therefore, should the implant shell “rupture,” it maintains its shape andsilicone does not leak.During your breast augmentationconsultation, you should feel the different types of implants available, andtry on various implant sizers in front of a mirror to help you to get an ideaof how you will look following the surgery. You should also bring pictures ofthe look you would like to achieve, as well as a favorite top to wear whentrying on implant sizers. The best way to assess and give trueadvice would be an in-person exam. Please see a board-certified plasticsurgeon that specializes in aesthetic and restorative breast surgery.Best of luck!Dr SchwartzBoardCertified Plastic SurgeonDirector-BeverlyHills Breast and Body Institute#RealSelf100Surgeon
It is very difficult to determine the exact size and shape implant you will require to best match your ideal breast image without an examination by a board certified plastic surgeon. Not just any board certified plastic surgeon, but one with many years of frequently performing breast augmentation surgery including different approaches, techniques and implant choices. This is because several measurements not to mention your breast characteristics are needed to determine the optimal implant size to obtain your goals. Without knowing these dimensions it would be difficult to make this determination. For example, the existing base width of your breast will determine, in many cases, the maximal volume per implant profile that you can accommodate. To illustrate; a 100 cc difference may make a significant difference with a narrow base width breast, but much less of a difference if you have a wide chest wall and wide breast “foot print”. Therefore, just because your friend may have a great result with let’s say a 350 cc implant to make her go from a “A” cup to a “C” cup size does not mean that you will have the same result with the same size implant. . Further simply placing implants in a bra to determine the size best for you is not always accurate as the bra often distorts the size, is dependent on the pressure the bra places plus the implant is outside your breast and not under it among other variables. Computer software morphing programs that automatically determine the best implant size can be helpful in some but not all cases (e.g. doesn’t work well in my experience with existing implants, sagging or asymmetric breasts). Using “want to be” photos however are useful if simply provided to the surgeon as I will further explain in the below link.
Thank you for your question. Each of the implants have their own looks. The higher the profile, the less natural and more implanted the look can be. It's important to think three dimensionally when selecting the implant. The width of the implant should match the width of your breast to create the proper cleavage. If you are hoping to have a more natural look, you may want to consider a moderate plus profile implant instead of the high profile. If there any concerns about implant size and projection, I would talk to your surgeon about it. bring photos of breasts that you think are attractive and they will be able to get an idea f the shape that you are hoping to obtain.Best of luck with your breasts.Jeff Rockmore
You have a very difficult question to answer without an exam or pictures. I generally do not like to promise cup sizes after augmentation. Cup sizes can vary widely depending on where you shop. That being said- on an average built female, a 330 cc implant would be around a C cup. Discuss this with a board- certified plastic surgeon.I hope that helped.RSH
Hello and thank you for your question. The decision of implant size depends on your breast anatomy and shape. This decision is best made in person with input from both the surgeon and patient. The most important aspect is to find a surgeon you are comfortable with. With good surgical technique, you could have an outstanding result. I recommend that you seek consultation with a qualified board-certified plastic surgeon who can evaluate you in person.Best wishes and good luck.Richard G. Reish, M.D.Harvard-trained plastic surgeon
Thank you for your question. You would likely get to a full B or C cup with 330ccs starting from an A cup. Pix would have been helpful but best to have a consult and preferably undergo Vectra 3D imaging to simulate your postop outcome. You may be a TUBA candidate as well.
Yes I think that a 330cc breast implant will get you from an A cup to a B/C cup after breast augmentation. I am not certain wether the HP is the right choice for saline breast implants. I would discuss this with your surgeon.Best Wishes,Nana Mizuguchi, MD
Breast Implant Size is a combination of subjective and objective criteria.380 cc is a reasonable recommendation. There is not a direct correlation between the cc's of a breast implant and the corresponding cup size, as cup size is an inexact measurement that varies considerably among companies and even within the same company. Online consultants will not be able to guide you as well as surgeons who perform in person consultation. The size of the implants are based on a combination of a patient's goals and objectives and her anatomy. In order to provide a natural looking augmentation, the surgeon needs to evaluate many factors including soft tissue coverage, skin laxity, chest wall width, breast imprint width, the shape of the breasts and relative level of constriction to ensure that the breast implants are appropriate for your body.
It would be really helpful to have a full consultation with breast measurements taken. Using this information, your plastic surgeon can help you chose the appropriate implants and the " look" you are going for and advise you to give you your desired look. There is no ideal correlation with volume of an implant and "cup size" due to many variables including the patient current breast volume and breast shape.
On silicone gel filled implants, the seal is on the back of the implant. This is the side adjacent to the ribs. On saline filled implants, it depends. Most saline filled implants have a fill port on the "front" or top of the implant. This is the side facing the breast. However, the new Idea...
Thank you for your question. Yes 800 cc as the largest silicon gel implant available. Saline implants can be filled to larger sizes. However I have never seen a "beautiful" breast with 1000 to 1200 cc breast implants. These large sizes stretch the breast to an unnatural appearance, often get...
