While Ultherapy is an excellent choice for creating firmer, smoother skin, it is not the best choice for addressing deep laugh lines. If you are still unhappy with those creases after an Ultherapy treatment, injections of a dermal filler will likely put the finishing touches on your skin rejuvenation. If the laugh lines are the primary concern, I might go to the dermal fillers first and then see if you still want to pursue a skin tightening treatment.
Ultherapy is great non-invasive treatment to help with tightening the skin. However with deeper nasal labial folds combing a filler with Ultherapy will help achieve better results. In our practice, we perform a non-surgical face lift / skin resurfacing treatment using Renuvion Helium Plasma Radiofrequency. To get the most improvement with skin tightening, we combine Renuvion (formerly J-Plasma) with lasers (Fraxel, Clear + Brilliant, CO2), microneedling/PRP, Ultherapy and InMode FaceTite. I suggest getting a formal evaluation with a cosmetic dermatologist. Best, Dr. Emer

Combining the two treatments will give you longer lasting results instead of just doing one or the other.Best of luck!

You do not appear to have loose sagging skin. It appears you may have a tight platysma band which can be ascertained on physical examination. Botox or surgical release of the bands may be appropriate. Thermage or Ultherapy will likely be disappointing.
I am sorry you did not receive the results you hoped for from your Ultherapy treatment. I can’t tell exactly what happened without seeing your pre-Ulthera photo, but I’m guessing you are noting the loose skin near your jowls. Skin rejuvenation needs a customized combination approach. The loo...
