How long do I have to wait after getting Laser Genesis before getting Ultherapy?

Thank you for your question. Ultherapy is likely to put a nice finishing touch on your Laser Genesis treatments and these procedures are very safe to use together. That said, I would give the treatment area time to heal fully before introducing another technology to the area. Within four to six weeks after your last Laser Genesis session should be a good time to schedule Ultherapy. Make sure you are working with a board-certified dermatologist with extensive experience in non-surgical skin tightening to ensure an optimal outcome.

Genesis and Ulthera are both fantastic treatments for stimulating collagen.  I would suggest waiting a few weeks after your Genesis before the Ulthera, but there is really no need to wait a significant amount of time.  Most patients have minimal downtime after the Genesis, and the Ulthera will penetrate much deeper in the tissue than the Genesis.

Genesis laser and Ultherapy are very safe treatments. It is best to always allow your skin to rest post procedures to enhance its benefit and monitor for any possible side effects. If you're interested in having Ultherapy done, i would recommend to wait 4-6 weeks after your last Genesis treatment. Discuss with your specialist the treatments risks, side effects and what to expect. Make sure you're a candidate for Ultherapy and reassess the skin post Genesis to make sure you achieved your results before starting a different treatment.
