Skin ripping/burning sensation in the back after lipo and tummy tuck. What's causing it?

It is normal to have these sensations after a tummy tuck/abdominoplasty.They certainly can last for three months in some cases more. They generally do subside with time. If they continue, you should certainly have a discussion with your plastic surgeon.It is imperative that you seek the advice of a plastic
surgeon who is certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery and has
extensive experience in tummy tuck/abdominoplasty.

What you are describing is commonly associated with lumbar back muscle issues.  Typically a tummy tuck realigns the rectus muscles as part of the anterior abdominal muscle tightening technique.  The core abdominal muscle are the antagonists to the lunar back muscles.  Simply said you mess with one, you mess with the other by default.  At three months you should have essentially resolve these issues, though some patients still have issues this far out.  When my patients have this issue I send them either to a physical therapist or to a therapist that performs MAT (Muscle Activation Technique), the later being my preference.
