It appears that your incisions are healing well, and itching can accompany scar maturation after any surgery.  This itching, in addition to the slight swelling, should resolve over the next several months, as scars will mature for over a year after surgery.  Hang in there and continue to treat your symptoms as they develop.

Hello, itchiness after surgery can be due to immature or hypertrophic scars, regenerating nerves, or issues unrelated to the surgery.  I would recommend ongoing followup with your plastic surgeon.

Your surgeon is correct in that healing can extend well beyond one year and itching can accompany this.  Based on your pictures it appears that you might also have some "Hypertrophic Scarring" (Similar to Keloids).  This could also be the source of some of your itching as well.  Hypertrophic scars can be treated with steroids, lasers or both.  I suggest perhaps revisiting your surgeon or a dermatologist in this regard.  I don't see any obvious "dog-ear" in your picture, though the left lateral extent of the scar appears a little full and might require minor revision in the future once all subtle healing has been completed (About one year after surgery).
