I am nervous people will judge me for having a rhinoplasty (Photo)

I am about to have surgery in a week and a half. I have only told my boyfriend, and it's making him uncomfortable because he is the only one who knows. Is it better to tell people before, or let them find out when they do. How is a good way to approach it. I feel like a lot of my friends would judge me. It is a rasping of the dorsal hump. The nose won't be broken.
