I have always had heavy, saggy lower cheeks. I do have nice high cheek bones but the whole shape of my face is ruined by the lower area. I am carrying some additional weight at the moment but even as a size eight I've had a jowl effect around my cheeks. I have tried a thread lift without any improvement. What else can I do?
Answer: Mini lifts can be performed on younger patients with great results. While the 30s is often considered young for a facelift, age is not the deciding factor when looking at a facelift; instead, we look at skin quality and amount of sagging. From your photos, it appears as though you may be a good candidate for a mini lift, which at my practice involves a less aggressive lower facelift that sculpts the jawline and corrects early signs of jowls and laxity. Mini lifts can be performed on younger patients with great results. I hope this helps.

Answer: Facelift in Your Early Thirties A person’s age is best guessed by the appearance of their face. If you feel that your face does not reflect how young you feel inside, you may be a candidate for a facelift.During your #consultation, your skin texture and elasticity, as well as your underlying skin structure and your facial bone structure will be evaluated. Based on this evaluation, your board certified plastic surgeons will create a custom surgical plan, detailing specific techniques and recommendations to meet your goals. In doing so, he or she should be sure to have a full understanding of what results you expect. If you are not a #candidate, your surgeon can make other suggestions to address your concerns and objectives.Patients who desire facial rejuvenation that is affordable, quick, and effective should consider the Lite-lift™. Like the Life-Style™ facelift, this is a modified facelift that can be performed in the office with a local anesthetic and improve signs of aging around the neck, jawbone and lower face. These procedures are not "Thread-lifts" or "String-lifts". We do not use the "barbed" sutures employed in these other lifting operations. The Lite-lift™ uses longer lasting techniques that are discussed below. Because the incisions are limited, there is less bruising, swelling and healing time for most patients. Many patients can be back to work in one to two weeks looking rested and more youthful. The best candidates for #LiteLift are patients 35-60 years old with early changes of the lower face and the neck. Older patients who cannot or do not wish to have a longer operation or general anesthetic can be improved with a Lite Lift™.Lite Lift™ surgery is individualized for each patient. The best candidates for Lite Lift™ surgery have a face and neck line beginning to sag, but whose skin has elasticity and whose bone structure is well defined and do not smoke.

Answer: Facelift in early thirties? Thank you for your question. Based on your photos and your age and the condition of your skin I would not recommend a facelift. Filler injections to the midface can plump and freshen the cheeks and provide some lift to the face.

Answer: Early Facelift Hi Nocturna13Thanks for posting your photo and your question. Without a thorough examination it is difficult to advise on the best option for you.Our Facelift is less invasive than a traditional facelift and there is less scarring, bruising and swelling for a significantly quicker recovery period. This innovative procedure combines the latest surgical techniques with the use of local anaesthetic to dramatically reduce the risks associated with traditional facelifts, while significantly reducing the bruising and downtime of your recovery, from months to a matter of days. This is a combination of a SMAS lift and skin tightening that allows the procedure to have it's longevity without the trauma and invasiveness of a traditional facelift. Some people are skeptical about the outcomes and that's because it is unique to us, so no one will know how it is performed. I have done over 800 of these, with clients from as far away as the states, that are extremely happy with the outcomes. There is minimal bruising and swelling, especially when compared to traditional faceliftsAs the procedure is performed under local anaesthetic, you can go straight home following the procedureFull recovery in a matter of days rather than monthsSignificantly less risk than Facelifts performed under general anaestheticFresh, youthful and long lasting resultsDo your homework and research the best options for you.

Answer: Facelift in the 30s A facelift in the 30 would be rare. I do have patients I have done facelifts on in their 40's. With that said patients who do have a large degree of cheek sagging and jowls benefit from facelifts. You likely would fit into that group. I am in Austin, not too far away. Can give true medical advice in person.
