Will Eyelid Surgery for congenital ptosis be covered by insurance now, or not?

Anon472114
I went to a doctor who said I have congenital eyelid ptosis which has been stable since birth. He told me the surgery to fix it would be covered. He sent me to a surgeon. The surgeon said My muscles aren't developed and can't hold up my eyelids. He said I don't need the surgery now bc the lid isn't low enough to cover my iris. He said it will get lower and to do it then. I want to do it now though. Will the surgery be covered or will it cost if I do it now when it doesn't affect my sight
