Hello,Thank you for your question. Ulthera is a treatment that will lift and tighten the skin. There are no reports of it directly improving Rosacea or other skin conditions. Good luck!
Ulthera is an FDA approved device for non-surgical lifting and tighenting. It helps improve the elasticity and firmness of the skin by inducing collagen synthesis over 3-6 months. It can improve the appearance of fine lines, large pores and uneven texture. It will not improve rosacea. I would see a dermatologist to find out your best treatment options for rosacea.Best of luck!
Ultherapy is a skin tightening treatment that works in a two-step process. The first stage is the contraction and denaturing of collagen, which causes an immediate tissue tightening, and resultant lift. The second stage occurs over time while the body’s healing response builds new collagen (neocollagenesis). New collagen production is generated over 2-3 months and often continues for 6 months after the treatment. Full results are visible after 3 to 6 months. The general texture and tone of your skin will improve but it does not treat rosacea. It will not treat pustules and papules sometimes caused by rosacea and it does not treat the vessels (telangiectasia). IPL is a great option to brighten up your face and treat the vessels. Ultherapy + IPL + a medical treatment regimen by your dermatologist would be a great option to looking better. Good Luck!
Ultherapy is great for skin tightening, but will provide minimal improvement for Rosacea. For rosacea, I like a combination approach, using lasers (ProYellow, Pulsed Dye/Vbeam, Excel V, Clear + Brilliant) and botox to the cheeks. This makes dramatic changes in color and symptoms. When combined with microneedling/prp, this will give improvement to the pores. Please see an expert for a formal consultation. Best, Dr. Emer.
Ulthera is used to tighten the skin by stimulating new collagen growth. For rosacea you would be better off doing some IPL treatments which can be very effective for decreasing the redness on the face.
Thank you for your question. Ultherapy is a FDA approved, non-invasive procedure that uses ultra sound energy to lift & tighten the skin. It also improves the appearance of lines and wrinkles on the décolletage. It doesn’t not help with Rosacea. For more information, I recommend getting a in person consultation with a board-certified dermatologist.
Thanks for your question. Ultherapy will stimulate collagen repair so some improvement in rosacea may occur with the treatment. We prefer to combine it with either IPL, laser, or Fractora to get a more robust response. Also, combining Ultherapy with Sculptra can give a synergistic effect. A less expensive combination would be to use Hydrafacial or chemical peels along with Hydrafacial. Hope this helps and best of luck!
Hello magy234,Thank you for sharing your question. Ultherapy is very effective for lifting and tightening the skin of the face and neck and is indicated for this purpose. Might you get some improvement to your Rosacea? Maybe; this would be an added benefit. Time would tell on that front. For a more tried and true treatment for Rosacea IPL would be more appropriate. Be well.
Ultherapy is indicated for lifting the skin of the face and neck. But, we have several patients who have been pleasantly surprised that their Rosacea has improved as well. I would not recommend it as primary treatment for Rosacea, but if you need lift or tightening, reducing rosacea is a nice side effect.
Hi and thank you for your question! For a more effective recommendation, posting a few pictures would be very helpful. Overall, we usually recommend Ultherapy for lifting and tightening. There will also be an improved overall appearance and glow. For more dramatic changes in skin texture, lines, wrinkles, sun damage, we will often recommend laser treatments (such as our Halo from Sciton), and for color improvements (such as brown spots and redness like rosacea) we often recommend a BBL from Sciton. Schedule a consultation with an office that can offer you information of multiple modalities so you can be sure they guide you to which procedure is best for you. Best, Dr. Grant Stevens
Currently, the best option for undereye fat pad extrusion is surgical removal of the fat pad, a procedure called blepharoplasty. In the next 5 years, new treatment cream called Topokine will become FDA-approved as an in-office procedure to shrink undereye fat pads.
Surgical results, such as a surgical brow lift, will always carry more dramatic results than a nonsurgical brow lift, such as Ultherapy®, regardless of whether or when you have had Botox® Cosmetic treatment in the area.
Vitiligo can Koebnerize, that means any trauma can make it spread. I would say that it is unknown whether Ultherapy could have this effect, and that it would be safest not to have the procedure.
