Will a tip rhinoplasty sharpen my nose tip a lot? (Photos)

Question

My nose is very straight and beautiful from the side profile, however I don’t like how it looks from the front as I want it to be sharper. Do you think I could get a narrow and pointy tip if I did tip rhinoplasty? My ideal tip is the same as the nose of the celebrity I have attached. I would like mine to be restored to something similar.

Perception of the shape of the nose can sometimes be more problematic on the oblique view. 
In your case, the tip defining points are slightly low, and when the nasal tip becomes narrower it can produce the impression of sharper contour on the oblique view even if it is beautiful from front and side view.
To understand better the perception of the shape, it is possible to use 3D imaging and simulation and create just a narrower appearance of the nasal tip on the front view. Then you can examine it from various angles and establish whether you like it or not.
You need to also be realistic about how accurate your profile may stay if the front view changes. Even when the surgeon tries to keep it identical to the original shape, the profile is likely to have at least some subtle differences from the original.

Hello and thank you for your question. Based on your photographs, you may benefit from a tip refining rhinoplasty. Your surgeon can accomplish this by trimming, suturing, and reshaping the cartilage in your lower nose. Make sure you specifically look at before and after pictures of real patients who have had this surgery performed by your surgeon and not just a computer animation system. You should be able to view numerous pictures of actual patients with noses similar to yours performed by your surgeon. Thank you for your very interesting question. Generally speaking, the majority of rhinoplasty patients have more of an issue with their profile than they do with view from the front. However, I can completely understand why you feel the way you do. Many rhinoplasty techniques will change the appearance both use but it is possible to modify the plan so that the impact on the profile is minimal, whilst creating the changes you're looking for. Rhinoplasty is a complicated area of surgery but it is explainable and patients should always seek to have in-depth consultations with their surgeon so that they can understand the technicalities of the surgery before making a decision to proceed. I would advise you to seek an appointment with a highly experienced rhinoplasty surgeon and ideally one can offer 3D imaging to help explain and discuss your goals in detail. Best wishes
