I agree your philtrum is a bit long. The best way to address this concern is with a surgical lip lift. The procedure uses an incision under the base of the nose to reduce the philtrum and raise the upper lip to improve the proportion of the lower face. This procedure can be done using local anesthetic and recovery is typically just a few days. Visible scarring after surgery is minimal. I recommend finding a board-certified plastic surgeon with extensive experience in lip lifts to ensure an optimal outcome.

You do have a long philtrum. It can be shortened surgically with a lip lift. Although I have never been a fan of the procedure because it often doesn’t do what you think, it’s a reasonable option in your case.
