These are very limited photos to give you good advise! It appears that lowering the tip and making naso-labial angle deeper would solve the problem? However, without in person evaluation and full face/nose photos, it is impossible to tell whether full rhinoplasty or tip/base correction would produce better result. In person evaluation with a board certified plastic or ENT surgeon with expertise in rhinoplasty is recommended. Good luck.
Your nasal tip could be brought closer to your face which may make the turned up appearance less noticeable. Other than that, lengthening the nose is difficult to do.
Hello and thank you for your question. Based on your photographs, you may benefit from a tip refining rhinoplasty and a nasal tip deprojection to decrease the overall length of your nose. Make sure you specifically look at before and after pictures of real patients who have had this surgery performed by your surgeon and not just a computer animation system. You should be able to view numerous pictures of actual patients with noses similar to yours performed by your surgeon. If you cannot find enough real before and after pictures, then consider continuing your search for a surgeon. Best wishes and good luck. Richard G. Reish, M.D. FACS Harvard-trained plastic surgeon
Rhinoplasty sometimes causes the upper lip to drop. So a Rhinoplasty to lengthen and drop your tip a little bit may accomplish both objectives. Releasing the small muscle at the base of the tip of your nose may drop your lip, and happens sometimes in surgeries dealing with the tip of your nose.As for your lip asymmetry, think it is no noticeable. Do you think it is too short and showing too much lip? If so don't be too concern, many patients come to me asking me for a lip lift to make their lips look more like yours.
