Can I have tear trough filler / Restylane dissolved after 2 weeks? Visible under eye ridge. (photo)

Question

2 weeks ago I had Under Eye Rejuvenation / Restylane. Under one eye I have a visible ridge, which I can feel. I was advised by the person who did it to let it 'settle' for a month, that it could be flattened or dissolved after that time. I will not going back to that 'doctor'. Can I get this dissolved asap or do I have to wait a month? I have never had any kind of filler before. How much does getting this reversed cost? My other eye seems to be okay apart from bruising which is fading.

I would recommend that you see an experienced injector and discuss having the filler dissolved.  You could give it a couple more weeks to see if there is any further improvement but if it's not getting better, I would most likely have it dissolved.Regards,Dr. Ort

So what you have which as I say is a very common problem is siting of the filler too superficially without any soft tissue coverage. The aim of teartrough filler is to hide the product behind your cheek fat. Trying to hide it directly under lower lid skin gives you this result. I think this is highly unlikely to go away on its own although it will improve a little. If you hate the way it looks, my suggestion would be to have it dissolved and then you have to make a judgement call as to whether to have it re-injected with some more cover so that it matches the other side.
