Hi there. I am 6 weeks post opp and healing well. I had steroid injections at four weeks towards the tip of my nose, either side. However, it is the very tip that is super swollen/hard. Is it possible to have an injection right in the end/very tip of the nose to dissipate the hardness and swelling there? Almost injecting the very front of the tip rather than either side? I'm desperate for my tip to drop a little so wondered if this would help! Thank you!

At 3 weeks postop your nose is still going to be swollen. If you feel that your nose looks piglike, it is not uncommon for the nasal tip swelling to cause this appearance. A lot of this will decrease with time. I would hold off pushing any steroid injections at this point, but you should discuss...
Small oozing of blood is okay for up to the first 10 days but a trickle is not acceptable. You need to contact your surgeon to be evaluated for a source of bleeding.RegardsDr. J
