Shampoo/conditioner paste stuck on scalp from washing - Is this normal? - post FUE (2months) (photo)

Question

I get a white paste of shampoo/conditioner stuck on my scalp on the FUE area that was transplanted. For some reason this occurs every time after washing my hair as per the instruction I’ve been given. Is this normal ? I’ve also developed some sort of flakes when the scalp is dry during the day.

I have never heard of residue being left over. By definition water should remove the shampoo/conditioner. Perhaps your have some dermatitis. Go talk to your doctor who can look closely at the skin

It would be unusual to have a paste develop on your hair after shampooing and rinsing two months after FUE.  If you haven't yet, discuss this with your surgeon.

If you used a high quality conditioner and shampoo, you should have no left-over residuals on your scalp
