I got BBL in Feb 2019. I'm fully healed & not happy with the size or shape of my bum. I wanted a completely natural look with nice smooth curves & more emphasis on hips over bum. I didn't want a "Nicki Minaj" look. You can see from my pics it looks more like I have implants/my bum is "stuck on" and doesn't match the size of my legs. I have pockets of fat under both bum cheeks that you can see really badly from the side profile. Is it possible to make my bum smaller &improve my shape?
Answer: My recommendation Hello, thank you for the question and great photos.. after analysing your case.. I can say you're a good candidate for a BBL revision, as we can see the doctor injected too much fat on the upper side of yoru buttocks but dont worry, we can make a revision to solve this problem, give you great results and improve the look of your butt. l recommend you to make an appointment with a board certified plastic surgeon to talk about your goals and anything you need to know. Best of lucks. Dr. Luis Mejia

Answer: BBL results Dear rachelbowman, it is hard to tell for sure without an examination. Based on your photos, it looks like you would benefit from BBL revision surgery in order to get a better shape. If you are considering a surgery, I would suggest you to consult a board-certified plastic surgeon. Only after a thorough examination you will get more information and recommendations. Answer: BBL Revision Thank you for your questions and photos. An in-person examination is needed to fully evaluate your options. Based on the provided photos, it seems that you may benefit from a butt lift revision with VASER Hi-Def liposuction. Using ultrasonic waves, this procedure allows for precise fat removal from the upper butt and around the waistline. The harvested fat will then be redistributed to the side and uneven areas on the buttocks to smooth out the unevenness. Please reach out to us or consult with a Board Certified Plastic Surgeon with extensive BBL experience to provide you with more in-depth information and recommendations. Best of luck from TranPlastic Surgery!

Answer: BBL revision Hello and thank you for the question and the photos. What you are describing is called the "Tombstone" deformity. Too much fat was injected in the high upper buttock. This area is easier to fill than the lateral hip and too often we see results where the fat is put too high. The correction involves liposuctioning from the upper butt and flanks, then reinject the fat in the lower butt and hips. Since it's been over a year, you can proceed as most of the healing has already occurred. One of the best advances in BBL has been the advent of S.A.F.E. and E.V.L. This stands for " separation. aspiration. fat equalization" This is a methodical approach to liposuction using the PAL ( power assisted liposuction device ) and a basket tip cannula. The fat is then reinjected using the EVL ( expansion vibration lipofilling ) method. Combined, it leads to the best overall outcomes regarding BBL in my experience. As always, you should be healthy, non smoking, and make sure any health conditions are being managed by your primary care md. For now, most doctors are providing virtual consultations until the Covid-19 crisis is resolved. If you are interested, we offer skype for virtual consultations. In the meantime, take vitamin D daily ( strong evidence that vitamin D is needed by the immune system ) be safe, wash your hands and kind to each other! Best to you.
