Lumps after tear trough fillers. What can I do? (Photo)

You mention that you noticed this lumpiness 3 days following the procedure. This could be normal and you should review the results after a minimum of 2 weeks. If the lumpiness persists it can be resolved with an injection of hyaluronise. Hopefully it will resolve on his own. Best of luck 

Your swelling peaks at about three days post treatment. It is possible that the lumps you're seeing will settle in the next 2-3 days. If they do not, return to your injector. I suggest speaking to your physician and reversing the fillers unless it is very soon after injection then wait 1-2 weeks to see if it settles down.  Best, Dr. Emer.

Tear trough area is a more bruise-prone region of the face and some of the visible lumpiness can be a result of swelling and bruising. We usually bring our patients back after 7-10 days to determine if any adjustments are needed. Most of the time we specifically under-treat this area to ensure that results are natural. However, if persistent lumpiness were to happen, gentle massage can be attempted and if that fails, hyaluronidase can be injected (assuming that you had a hyaluronic acid filler) to dissolve it. 

Thanks for your question.  How long ago did you have your treatment?  I tell my patients to wait a week or two for all the swelling and bruising to go down when injected into this site.  If any lumps persist past that time, and if you were injected with a hyaluronic acid filler, your physician injector can use hyaluronidase to dissolve the lumps.  Best of luck to you!
