Hello, I have been wanting to ask this for a long time, why does a horizontal crease exist at the bridge of my nose and how do i get rid of it also if you could please suggest the approximate range for the treatment it would be great =) Thank you!
Answer: Procerus line in glabella The deep horizontal line in the glabella is from the hyperactivity of the muscle procerus. It responds well to botox injections which can range between $150 to $500. In some cases the muscle itself is so thick that it needs to be surgically removed. It is best to start with Botox and if it does not work then consider surgical options. RegardsDr. J

Answer: Nose shape variations Hi. What you are seeing is due to three things: Your nasal starting point or Radix, your forehead bone prominence and your brow musculature. Id have to see a profile picture as well before making suggestions but depending on your profile picture the simplest way to reduce the depth of the "line" or shadow is to inject the area with Restylane to elevate your Radix. Otherwise shaving the forehead/brow bone which is much more extreme may be needed. Botox may help slightly but it has to be injected correctly otherwise it can actually make it worse by dropping your brow down. Yours is a complex anatomy and not to be handed to just any plastic surgeon.

Answer: Heavy Brow and Deep Crease at Bridge of Nose Hello,You have a very heavy, masculine brow. To say that Botox would fix this is, well, quite optimistic. I suspect that in your situation a brow lift will be necessary. However, great care must be taken not to over do it as over elevated male brow area looks quite odd. A brow lift will remove portions of the procerus and corrugator muscles in addition to lifting out the heavy soft tissues of your brow. Certainly a trial of Botox/Dysport and Restylane/Juvederm is reasonable, but I doubt you will find it all that successful.
