Can I get a hairline lowering procedure even after having a hair transplant? (Photo)

It is possible to have a hairline lowering procedure.   Several experienced doctors across the country perform these types of operations and they are generally quite successful but somewhat involved.  The operation entails making an incision along the hairline, removing some forehead tissue and then suturing the two areas back together.  Since some forehead tissue has been removed, the overall effect is lowering of the hairline.  There will be a scar along the hairline however, so many doctors finish the procedure by transplanting hairs along the scar to camoflauge it. 

Unfortunately I've had to do this numerous times over a lot of years in patients who had transplants prior to seeing me. The skin where the present transplants are located (the bald area prior to your previous surgery) is removed, the scalp advanced and the hairline established with hair of normal uniform density.
