6 weeks post FUE, can start using hair fibres like Toppik to help with concealing?

I suggest my patients to wait at least for 6 months ın order to use toppıcs and fibers after their hair transplant operation.

It is best to ask your surgeon about post operative care as each doctor has their unique regimen.  At this stage you can use any product you wish.

Hair fibers at this point are not going to harm the grafts. Using them until the transplanted hair begins to come in is a good idea for giving camouflage to the area.

After 6 weeks post FUE surgery, the wounds and grafts have healed.  It is generally safe to use camouflage products (e.g. hair fibers, etc .). Make sure you are not allergic to the product your choose as it can cause a contact dermatitis and may affect your skin and hair.

By 6 weeks you are generally very safe using hair fibers.  The grafts should be well seeded and growing naturally at this point.  You may still have additional hair growth in the area of transplant that is not fully visible yet but may grow over the next few months.  Hopefully your use of fibers will be less of an issue as your transplanted hairs continue to come in! 

you can start using hair care products once you are healed. If it is six weeks since your surgery, you should be healed by now and can return to your normal routine. 

At 6 weeks everything should have healed and all of the crusts should be off so you can safely use Toppik
