18 months after FUE, of which the results were good in my opinion, the transplanted individual hairs are quite different characteristically to the 'native' hairs; really coarse, kinky and different texture. Is this something that is likely to change or do they generally retain their original characteristics from the donor zone?

It is likely that you were informed that density that can be achieved surgically is not the same as your natural density. There is always a discrepancy. The key is to stay on hair saving techniques (like finasteride, Rogaine, PRP, laser therapy, etc) which will enhance your surgical results. G...
That is a very aggressive hairline pattern. I am hoping that hair loss is not in your future or you could be stuck with an aggressive hairline without the supporting hair behind it.
