Seborrheic dermatitis 2 months post FUE. Will this affect my regrowth? (Photo)

I believe I have developed mild Seborrheic Dermatitis post FUE ht 2months in. I am seeing the dryness/flakes develop during the day and after washing my hair at night with shampoo/conditioner I am gaining this odd strange look. Will this affect my regrowth and what can be done to get rid of Seborrheic Dermatitis?

Hello, thank you for the question. I suggest you try using coconut oil on your scalp, leave on for about 10-15 minutes then rinse off. That hopefully will make the dryness goes away and its natural. If that doesn’t stop it try using Head & Shoulders shampoo. If neither of those work I think you should make an appointment with a doctor. Good luck to you.

This should be managed with Selsun, Head and Shoulders, T-Gel or even a ketaconazole shampoo. See your surgeon and have them do a close analysis using trichoscopy.

Seborrheic Dermatitis is not a usual diagnosis after an FUE. Think about better care with the use of a good conditioner after shampooing and see if that make a difference.  IF not, try Head and Shoulders shampoo
