Hi. I have had 3 treatments of Juvederm in my lips, primarily the top lip. The results have been pretty underwhelming, but I think this is because my upper lip is long. However my question is: why is the filler not taking to the outer side of my top right lip? In the photos you can see the right side is flat, whilst the left side is filled. The docs have tried to add more filler to this side only but nothing works. It won't take. Note: the mark on my bottom right lip is an old scar, not relevant.

No. You need to let your lips fully heal from your first treatment so that the injector can see your final results and judge where more filler needs to be placed. I know it's frustrating to not see what you want immediately, but for now, patience is key.
Thank you for sharing your concerns about your recent lip augmentation. Lumps and bumps are completely normal for up to two weeks after initial injections. At the two-week mark, I recommend following up with your injector for evaluation. If the lumps are still visible, your injector may gently...
It looks as if you are experiencing an allergic reaction to the topical numbing cream. It will clear up with time, but until then, speak with your doctor about getting a topical steroid cream to use in addition to your oral steroids. So sorry that you are experiencing this.
