1 day after getting the injection, I noticed a small rash forming in the corner of my mouth on the skin surrounding my mouth. Not the injection site. Over the next day, it has gotten worse and I don't know what to do. I've contacted my physician and she prescribed a steroid but I haven't been much improvements. Any topical I could put on it that would help?

Answer: Red rash around my mouth after receiving JVD. Don't know what is going on.
What you are describing is extremely rare and typically happens immediately. So, you are in the clear. You can expect to have some swelling and possibly bruising after your filler so don't be concerned. This will resolve within a couple of weeks. Best of luck.
Fillers should be used immediately. I don't ever recommend storing unused filler to be used later on a patient. There is no way to make certain that the filler remains sterile. Hope this helps.
