My experience with Dr.Rahal is amazing. It’s the best customer service I have had in my life so far. I come from China. My good friend a year ago came to Dr. Rahal and got his life changing procedure and I too would love to embark on this. I have seen Dr. Rahal’s work on all the platforms and I was so amazed by it. I booked my consultation with James and he’s very knowledgeable and always happy to answer all my questions. A special thanks to Sarah who was extremely responsive all the way along. I trust Dr. Rahal so much and I know that I’m in good hands with him and his team. The hairline King Dr. Rahal is a true artist. I always want to have smaller forehead. He designed my new hairline and I love it so much. The shape of my face is going to look better and finally I can style my hair any way I want. I had my FUE procedure on July 10,2020 and everything went so smoothly. The pain was very bearable. I was sleeping during the whole procedure. Sam is beyond amazing he’s extremely patient, caring and made me at ease. Mike took such a good care of me before and after the procedure and he is super knowledgeable and trustworthy. Now I’m 6 days post op I’m already obsessed with my hairline. I can’t wait to see the result. I cannot recommend enough! I would 100% go back to Dr.Rahal to get another treatment in my future. :) Updated on 18 Dec 2020: It has been 5 months and I’m super happy with the result so far... I feel so much confident and happy now :) It’s frustrating to wear hats everyday but I know I need more patience for my hair to grow. Dr.Rahal is so amazing and I would recommend him to everyone!
I had a great experience with Rahal with their SMP treatment. Fiona is the SMP specialist who treated me and she made everything very easy/comfortable for me. I had 3 treatments, so it was a gradual transition and the end result was amazing. This was one of the best investments I have ever made in myself, and I am no longer self conscious about my hair loss.
I had an FUE procedure done in 2018. I did 2000 grafts which resulted in 4000 hairs to the recipient area. I also did PRP injections at the recommended intervals. I did three consultations with Dr. Rahal and took over three years to finally decide to go ahead with the procedure. I am a very thoughtful and prudent person, I did tons of research, watched countless YouTube clips and read everything I could. My procedure was eight months ago now, I wanted to wait until I had most of my expected results to leave a review. So the truth is the procedure is fairly easy and very minimal pain. I stayed at the Rahal clinic and the staff were amazing, very reassuring and knowledgeable. After the procedure you do look very strange for a little while. Half my head was shaved and the recipient area was also extremely noticeable. I followed the instructions for recovery exactly and had minimal swelling and no issues at all. Best thing to get for recovery is a lazyboy chair that reclines, trust me, worth every penny for those first few weeks. For my results the most important thing for me was that it looked natural.. . . The results, take a while to see and your impatience can get the better of you. I was constantly worried it wasn’t growing in quick enough, thick enough, or how I wanted it. You have to trust in the process and be patient, which was tough for me. My results now are beyond my expectations. The hairline is exactly what I wanted and Dr. Rahal and his team are masters and artists. It looks so natural and thick and no one could ever tell that I had anything done. When I was doing my consultations, Dr Rahal’s team told me that most patients said after the procedure that they wished they had done it sooner. I thought this was something they just said to sell me on the procedure. I can tell you now, I should have done this years ago. I can’t stop looking at myself in the mirror, I never want to wear hats, I love my hair line and the results. Seriously, thank you Dr Rahal, the results are so spectacular! Some family members that were hesitant for me to get the procedure done and worried about the aftermath, have all now said how awesome it looks and what a great job Dr Rahal did. If you are thinking about a hair transplant and Dr Rahal, I can’t say enough about his clinic. It’s a big decision to make and a huge commitment, mine took me three years to finally do it. However, once you do and follow his instructions, you will be very glad you did! Just take the first step and do it!
Rahal Hair Transplant Toronto is absolutely highly recommended for advanced hair restoration, with all the first class things that a clinic could offer, from start to finish, I would like to talk about the staff and how very professional and knowledgeable and how they thoroughly explained the procedure and answered all of questions not only on my procedure day but leading up to the day. Even after it was over they still checked up to see my progress. I would like to send out a special shout out to Larissa Atamanchuk for greeting me at the door with such a welcoming smile and making me like I had made the right choice even after my procedure I came in for a follow-up on the next day she was very comforting and patience with all my questions, Mike Lara was super amazing, he calmed my nerves and always was there to reassure me and guide me through my procedure, I called back a couple weeks later with a question and his response was so quick and helpful, and of course Dr.Rahal for taking such good care of me and working his magic. This clinic is an A ++ place. I have recommended them to my family and friends and will continue be out there spreading the word. Dr.Rahal is beyond excellent he is a master of hair transplant Doctors who takes great pride in making people dreams come true.
Fiona at Dr Rahal's office is amazing. Very knowledgeable and experienced. Excellent work! I'm very happy with the result. I've attached the before and after. Don't hesitate to meet with the great staff at Dr Rahal's as they are great at answering questions and providing different options to suit you.
I have had two hair transplants with Dr Rahal, 12 years apart, and I cannot begin to tell you how much of a positive impact he has had on my life. I started loosing my hair in my early 20s and by mid-20s I was well on my way to advanced hair loss. I started taking the meds, which stopped the hair loss, and went to Dr Rahal for my first transplant. At that time, FUE was in its infancy, and so I had a strip procedure. Before going to Rahal I consulted with every notable hair transplant surgeon at the time and I can tell you that none of the others had results that looked anywhere near as good as Rahal. It was a no brainer. I travelled to him from Europe to have the surgery and I am not going to lie, the recovery was pretty intense, and I remember thinking I wouldn't do it again, but the results were absolutely incredible. Like, no one would ever believe I had a hair transplant - he literally achieved full density for me at the hairline, which is something I have never seen any other doctor achieve. Most hair transplants look good from a distance, but you can tell the density isn't quite there when you are up close - but not with Rahal. The only thing I wasn't 100% happy with from my first surgery was the height of my hairline. I wanted to bring my hairline down further, but he advised against it at the time because I was still young and I might need the rest of my donor supply to cover the back of my head in time. Thankfully however the meds did a great job of maintaining my existing hair and so I went back to him last year, this time in my late 30s, to have a further procedure to lower my hairline more. I cannot tell you how happy I am with the outcome. If you were to look at my hairline, you would think I had a normal 21 year old hairline - the density and shape are literally perfect. I cannot overstate how great a job he did and I genuinely do not believe any other doctor, anywhere in the world, would be skilled enough to produce the result he did. He is a uniquely skilled doctor. The surgery itself is not easy going. The procedures are painful, and there can be significant swelling (I looked like I had been in a boxing match both times), and Ottawa is not the easiest place in the world to get to. But I would do it all again in a heart beat if I had to. I am so incredibly grateful to him and his amazing team I would give him a million stars if I could!
I got SMP with Fiona a few months ago. It was absolutely excellent, super professional clean and painless. It looks amazing and everyone that knows that I have it thinks it's crazy how real it looks. Best decision I have ever made.
I had a 3000 graft FUE procedure done by Dr Rahal and my experience was more than I could ask for. This clinic is one of the best in the world. Every step of the way I've been met with professionalism. From the pre consultation to follow up phone calls, every staff member has been friendly and easy to talk to, answering all questions and issues I've ever had. Dr Rahal was friendly and honest. I was given a realistic and honest opinion of what to expect. The procedure was essentially pain free and was like a day at the spa. I stayed at the guest house and it was great. Was able to hang out with some other patients and made a friend that I'm still in contact with today. The night after the procedure, I ordered a steak and had it delivered from Skip the Dishes. I drove home the day after. One month post procedure and I'm still in weekly contact with staff. They're calling and emailing to make sure my healing process is going well. All in all I couldn't be more pleased and wish I had done this sooner!
I am 3 days post of my FUE procedure with Dr. Rahal and the entire experience, from first consultation all the way up to the procedure and post op, has been perfect. This is a top notch facility with top notch staff and this is no surprise given the consistent homerun results that Dr. Rahal has been able to achieve. All the restoration options have been discussed with me and a plan has been established to ensure natural results throughout the years. I can't wait to see the new hairs growing in the following months!
I had my SMP procedure done at Dr. Rahal's clinic in Toronto. The treatment was done by Fiona who is by far the best SMP artist in GTA. I am extremely happy with the results of the procedure. Before my first appointment, i had a consultation session with Aaron who was very helpful and explained me what SMP is and how it is done. At the day of my first treatment, i was a bit nervous but after meeting with Fiona and as the procedure went on I was happy that I had made the right decision of choosing Dr. Rahal's clinic. Prior to my treatment I had read good things about Fiona and she exceeded my expectations with her expertise. She is very knowledgeable and highly trained at what she does. Her biggest positive is that she is very patient and considerate. She will listen to your concerns and work with you to get the best possible results. At the end of the day it all comes down to how experienced your SMP artist is and the entire look of your head is in their hands. I am very fortunate to have found Dr. Rahal's clinic and if anyone is looking to get SMP, Fiona is the best SMP artist out there. Thanks Fiona!
The area transplanted was quite large and will not create the desired density. Plus, some (many) of the grafts did not grow and thus giving the light coverage look. Doing 4000 grafts in one setting with curly hair is very challenging and if done poorly or rushed could lead to negative consequences. Was this procedure done in one day or two? Was it a sharp or semi sharp punch? Did the extractor physician have experience with curly hair?
The hairline should be done in 100% single hairs in the proper angle and direction in order to get natural result. Anything more than single hair, esp if have coarser hair, and you will get an unnatural outcome that looks pluggy. The triples and double can be removed by FUE and reused behind the hairline. Unfortunately many clinics that don't use microscope during cutting and magnification during placing of grafts will end up using doubles and triples instead of singles.
You had a very large area that was transplanted with only 3000 grafts. It also seems that few grafts were placed into the crown. Even with good mature growth, you will still have see through in the crown. You are also still at 9 months post and there is room to improve. If you have less than 100% growth, and then you will have less than satisfactory outcome and more see through. If you can share the size of the area transplanted and how much grafts went into crown will provide better guide of what to expect from the surgery. If you are still concerned by 12 months, contact your surgeon as you can discuss your expectations with them.
It is possible to make a scar smaller assuming few things. That: - the first scar is so wide that it can be improved, -the laxity of skin is still good to be mobilised -also assuming first surgery/scar was done with poor technique and that the new surgery (assuming better technique) will improve it -that you are just removing the scar and not attempting to remove as strip and scar Even with all those factors, the scar may still heal the same size, smaller or even bigger (ie no guarantee). Alternatively you can look towards treating your FUT scar with scalp micro-pigmentation.
A regular tattoo is not the same as SMP. The SMP needles, with proper technique, are going in very shallow depth that is above the sweat glands. If this is the case, then no damage to the sebaceous glands.
