I was looking up other methods (besides steroid injections) of curing scar tissue build up and swelling and came across cryotherapy, could that work? Are there any other methods?

Usually you want to wait 3-6 months between doing surgeries that are somehow related. That allows time for swelling to reside and you can get a better idea of profiles and balance. Of course the longer the better
You would be surprised how often we hear of this happening! I will tell you that rarely does it ever cause any problems. So try to relax, and just call your surgeon to take a look. All should be well.
